My Halloween Cookies
These are the witches broomsticks I made, they didn't come out looking very good. This is what they were suppose to look like.
These are the cookies I made
and the carmel apples.
The neighborhood party turned out really nice. They had a big fire going outside and everyone sat around the fire to keep warm (it is 44 degrees out there right now) plus we had hot dogs, chili, cupcakes, cookies, chips and dip, all kinds of drinks including hot chocolate and then they did smores for all the kids plus had candy for them. It finally got to cold for me and my nose started running so we headed on home, about half the people had already left but we left a good party still going. I just love this neighborhood. It is so different from the neighborhood we came from.

Well, I think all these things are great! I expecially like the owl cookies and those apples look wonderful. Good job! This is a lot better than what I made - nothing. Sigh...I made nothing.
Cute cookies!
I doubled the recipe for the pork stew and served 6 adults and 3 kids with left-overs for two people for lunch. Really good!
What great fun!
Gee tina I was flying around the moon looking for you, guess I left to late.
Thank you dot.
Tried to save you some pea but the kids have eaten them all now, didn't last long around here.
kristen it really makes for a fun neighborhood when everyone knows each other and gets together. Maybe you should try to start something like that in your neighborhood.
they were good jel but I love sugar cookies
barb did you take your grandson trick or treating? My kids are to old for that now so they have to settle for a little candy from home and some cookies.
dawn thanks for the answer on the pork stew, I'll double it since there are usually 6 eating here.
lori nice seeing you
What cute sweet treats! You spent quite a bit of time in the kitchen. I'm sure everyone enjoyed them!
