Hummingbird Envy

Now I very much am jealous of this lady but I guarantee you next year I will be out there with my hummingbirds trying to perform the same tricks. I mean this year they got right up in our faces and carried on all the time so this may not be so hard, I just never thought about it. But come next year these (hopefully) will be my pictures up here on my blog.

Connie you should try again next year for the hummers cause I have heard once you get them they will come back every year and they are amazing to watch. We had our feeder out for about 2 weeks before we got our first hummer but by the end of the season we had about 20 to 25 birds and 6 feeders out.

dot thank you so much, that was very sweet of you to say.

All right tina we will both be sitting out in our yards waiting on the hummers next year.

We'll have some of those hummers eating out of our hand next year, just watch.

We have hummingbirds, too. But the amazing thing about these photos is I have never, not once, seen a hummingbird perched anywhere. Truly amazing photos.

I love these pictures. Maybe next year it will be you holding the hummingbirds?

Wow, I've never seen hummingbirds go to anyone like that...geez, over here two can't even feed at the same feeder, they fight! lol The only time I've ever touched a hummingbird is when one flew into a window and was stunned...I was able to hold it in my hand until he came to! They are sooo tiny!!

Can you even imagine what a thrill that would be?! How fun! Sadly, I don't think I would have enough time to sit for long periods of time to get them used to me. I hope you try it successfully and can share some photos with us! :o)
